As part of the two-day Conference of Ambassadors, Consuls General, Consuls and Military Envoys of the Republic of Croatia, which brought together representatives of Croatian and European diplomacy for the tenth time, a panel "Defence in the National, European and Transatlantic Context" was held.

Goran Basarac, President of the Management Board of the ALAN Agency, also participated in the panel, along with representatives of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia, the Croatian Parliament and the Croatian Armed Forces.
The discussion focused on the current security and geopolitical environment, the strengthening of national and European defence capabilities and the role of Croatia within the European and transatlantic security architecture.

For the ALAN Agency, such meetings are particularly important because they enable the connection of the Croatian defence industry with institutions, diplomacy and international partners, and open up space for a stronger positioning of Croatian defence capacities in the European and transatlantic defence ecosystem.
