Strong International Debut of Agency ALAN at the DSA Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur
Agency ALAN participated for the first time in the international Defence Services Asia (DSA) exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, held from April 20 to 23, 2026.
At its very first appearance, Agencija ALAN established itself as a relevant and recognizable partner, successfully presenting products of the Croatian defence industry at one of the most important exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region.
Expanding into new markets in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and beyond is part of Agency ALAN’s long-term vision and strategy. The DSA exhibition has confirmed the validity of this strategic direction—through strong visitor interest, productive discussions, and the establishment of valuable contacts.
The visual identity and recognizability of the Republic of Croatia along with key products from the defence and security portfolio presented by Agencija ALAN, set new standards in approaching demanding international markets. The showcased products demonstrated competitiveness and readiness for equal participation on the global stage.
With strong support from the diplomatic and consular network, as well as thorough preparatory activities by Agencija ALAN staff, numerous high-quality meetings were held with delegations and business partners, opening concrete opportunities for further cooperation and business development.
We are particularly honoured that, alongside numerous business contacts, our stand was visited by a delegation led by the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Kuala Lumpur, Ambassador Dr. Ivan Velimir Starčević, accompanied by advisor Ljiljana Vinković. Cooperation with the diplomatic and consular network represents important institutional support for the defence and security industry.
Further confirmation of the success of our participation is reflected in the visits by high-level officials, including: Datuk Fadil Marsus, Director of the Royal Malaysian Police; Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Minister of Defence of Malaysia; Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Royal Malaysian Police); Datuk Aiman Athirah Sabu, Deputy Minister of Housing and Local Government of Malaysia; General Bopit Winthaija, spokesperson of the Royal Thai Armed Forces; Tunku Aznal Shahabudin, Prince of Perak; and Tuanku Syed Faizzuddin Ibni Tuanku Syed, Crown Prince of the Perlis royal family.
We were also honoured by the visit of the DSA Exhibition’s Executive Director, Nadzeem Abdul Rahman, further highlighting the importance and success of Agency ALAN’s debut at this prestigious international event.
Participation in the DSA exhibition represents an important step forward in strengthening Agencija ALAN international position and further confirms the successful presentation of the Croatian defence industry on the global stage.
