Agencija ALAN led by its President of the Management Board Goran Basarac, participated alongside representatives of the Croatian defence industry in the NATO Defence Industry Forum held in Ankara as part of the NATO Summit.
The Forum brought together senior representatives of NATO, Allied nations, and the defence industry with the aim of strengthening transatlantic defence cooperation increasing industrial production capacity, and fostering the development of joint projects and innovations. Particular emphasis was placed on investment in the defence industry, collaborative procurement, new financing models and the accelerated integration of advanced technologies into the Alliance's defence capabilities.
During the Forum, numerous opportunities were presented for the Croatian defence industry to participate in future NATO programmes, international research and development projects, and initiatives aimed at strengthening production capacities and industrial cooperation among Allied nations. Special attention was given to unmanned systems, air defence, space technologies, surveillance, and other innovative solutions that will shape the future development of NATO's defence capabilities.
By participating in international events of this kind, Agencija ALAN continues to actively pursue cooperation with partners from NATO member states in support of achieving the strategic objectives and activities defined by the Government of the Republic of Croatia, while further promoting the international visibility and competitiveness of the Croatian defence industry.
